Can you find the smile in this picture?

Some say you can't put a price on experience....

Apparently, that's not true! One "lucky" bidder has paid $42,500 to spend a week interning for Anna Wintour at Vogue in a CharityBuzz auction benefiting the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

I value the experience one can get as an intern, however paying $42,500 to get coffee for anybody is ummm different..... Let's hope someone was donating for the sake of donating!

Did y'all know...

The next Equal Pay Day is Tuesday, April 20, 2010. This date symbolizes how far into 2010 women must work to earn what men earned in 2009.
Equal Pay Day was originated by the National Committee on Pay Equity (NCPE) in 1996 as a public awareness event to illustrate the gap between men's and women's wages.

Wear Red to show your support....

Because women earn less, on average, than men, they must work longer for the same amount of pay. The wage gap is even greater for most women of color. Y'all know that ain't right!!!!

Pretty in Pink!

After reading a post at (womens wear daily) I've decided to channel my inner First Lady and bust out my pink sheath dress. Besides being one of the few pieces left in my closet, after the purge, it does look kind of cute on me too!

Check out Michelle...
